Most people learn Zi Wei by: memorizing 14 main star personalities → supporting star modifiers → 12 palace meanings → combination readings.

Sounds systematic. Actually exhausting.

Because the same star means different things in different palaces and combinations. You memorize "Zi Wei in Life Palace means leadership"—then discover there are six different scenarios, each different.

It seems like "you can never finish learning." Actually, you're using the wrong tool.

The right approach to Zi Wei isn't "memorize everything first, use later." It's "use first, understand gradually." Like learning a language—you don't need every word before talking to someone. You say "hello," they respond, and you learn through exchange.

Same with Zi Wei. Get your own chart. Look at the main star in your Life Palace. Read that section. Compare it with your life. "Yes, that fits." "That doesn't quite match."

Linguists have a concept called "comprehensible input"—you don't need every word to start reading. Understand roughly 70%, and context fills the rest.

Zi Wei works the same way. You don't need to understand all star combinations. You need to see what the 3-4 core stars in your own chart are saying.
